Linking accounts together makes it easy to switch between them.
Linking accounts together makes it easy to switch between them. When you switch from one account to another, your security credentials are automatically switched as well. Since each account may enforce the use of MFA, you might be asked to enter the on time code from an authenticator app if your session time is out.
You can link your account to an existing one or create a new account during the linking process.
To link your account to an existing one, do as follows :
- Click the plus '+' sign below your account icon
- Click the Link your account button in the opened window
After that, you will automatically be taken to the login page
- Log in using the credentials of the account you want to link to the main account
- Click the Link Account button on the opened page
After completing the account linking process, you can access your account using the credentials from both the main account and the linked one
When linking to another Desktop.com account, a previously registered MFA must be re-registered.
